DRAFT: not yet in effect
Privacy policy
Drafted 9 August 2026. This is a structured draft prepared ahead of launch; bracketed items will be completed and the final policy reviewed by counsel before publication.
1. Who we are
AmplifyPay is operated by Amplify Resourcing Ltd, company registration number to follow, of No. 9 Nii Sai Road, East Legon, Accra, Ghana ("we", "us").
We are the data controller for personal data processed through the AmplifyPay platform and this website, and we process personal data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and, where applicable, the directives of the Data Protection Commission (DPC).
Our registration with the Data Protection Commission is in progress. The number will appear here once it is issued.
2. Data we collect
Employer account data: company name, registration details, contact names, work email addresses and phone numbers of administrators.
Employee payroll data (provided by your employer): name, national ID / Ghana Card number, SSNIT number, TIN, salary and allowance details, bank account or mobile money wallet details.
Transaction data: earned wage draws, fees, disbursement records and payday settlements.
Technical data: device information, IP address, and usage logs collected when you use the platform or this website.
Website enquiries: details you submit through our demo request form (company, name, work email, phone, team size, message).
3. Why we use it
To run payroll on behalf of employers, including computing statutory deductions (SSNIT, PAYE) and generating payslips and statutory reports.
To provide earned wage access: calculating accrued wages, processing draws, disbursing to registered wallets or accounts, and netting repayments at payday.
To keep the platform secure: verifying identity, preventing fraud, and maintaining audit trails.
To meet legal obligations, including tax, employment and anti-money-laundering requirements.
To respond to enquiries and, with your consent, tell you about relevant product updates.
A full mapping of each purpose to its lawful basis is being prepared with counsel and will appear here before launch.
5. How long we keep it
Payroll and transaction records are kept for seven years, the period Ghanaian tax and employment record-keeping requires. The exact period for every other category is being confirmed with counsel before launch.
We keep website enquiry data while we are in contact with you about AmplifyPay, and delete it on request.
When retention periods expire, data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; object to certain processing; request deletion where data is no longer required; and complain to the Data Protection Commission.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We reply as quickly as we can, and within the time the Data Protection Act allows.
If you are an employee, some requests (for example, correcting salary data) may need to be completed together with your employer, who provides that data.
7. How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is role-based and logged. Administrator accounts require two-step verification.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Signing in takes two steps: a password, then a code sent to your email. Every change to payroll is written to an append-only trail that nobody can edit or delete, enforced by the database itself. We do not yet hold an external security certification, and we will say so plainly until we do.
