About
We ran payroll the hard way first.
The story
AmplifyPay is built by Amplify Resourcing, a staffing company in Accra. Paying people is our own problem before it is anybody's product. The spreadsheet that has to be right. The SSNIT and PAYE deadlines. The transfers that go out late in the evening. And the calls that come in the middle of the month.
Those calls are the part that stayed with us. Rent is due. Someone is in hospital. School fees will not wait for the 28th. The money being asked for is money the person has already earned. It just has not reached them yet. We handled it the way most Ghanaian employers do: an informal advance, a note in a book, and a finance team quietly tracking who owes what. It worked, barely, and it made people who had done nothing wrong feel like they were asking for a favour.
So we went looking for payroll software that got Ghana right and let people reach their own earned pay without the notebook. We did not find one we wanted to run our payroll on, so we started building it.
That is what AmplifyPay is. A full payroll product first: the run, the approvals, the payslips, the payment files, the GRA and SSNIT forms. Advances are a feature inside it, not a business bolted onto it.

Where we are
Pre-launch. Building in Accra and onboarding the first employers. You will not find a customer logo, a quote or a growth statistic anywhere on this site. When we have them, they will be real ones.
What we build to
Four things we will not trade away.
Payroll is a promise, not a report
People arrange their month around payday. Treating payroll as month-end admin misunderstands what it is for.
Pay already earned is not a loan
Nobody should ask a favour to reach money they have already worked for. The word for that is not credit.
If a fee needs fine print, it is the wrong fee
Every charge we make can be stated in one sentence and is shown before you agree to it. That is a design constraint, not a marketing line.
Built for how Ghana actually pays
Cedis, SSNIT, Tier 2 trustees, GRA dates and mobile money are the shape of the product. They were not added to a foreign one afterwards.
Come and take the product apart.
We would rather you pushed on the awkward parts than sat through a pitch.
